CFSP Exam Preparation
General Description
1-Day Training Class focused on key concepts, questions, and strategy for taking the Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) exam in Process Safety. The course will be split into two ½ day (4 hour) sessions.
This assumes the participants have either completed exida’s FSE100 training course or is experienced in the Functional Safety Field. While the course will revisit the basic Functional Safety Concepts, they will be covered quickly and with minimal emphasis on the history, derivation or supporting criteria.
The preparation will be based on a set of refresher slide material from the FSE100 course, as a set of 70 slides. The approximate time for the refresher slide review is 2 hours.
The course will include a set of example questions covering the full spectrum of the safety lifecycle:
FSE101 – 25 questions
FSE102 – 36 questions
The class will be given 5 hours split over the two sessions to complete the questions and then the instructor will reserve 1 hour at the end to review the questions and answers with the class.
For the CFSP exam, it is recommended to have the exida “Safety Book Package” consisting of:
Certified Functional Safety Expert / Professional (CFSE / CFSP) Study Guide
Practical SIL Target Selection - Risk Analysis per the IEC 61511 Safety Lifecycle
Safety Instrumented System Design – Techniques and Design Verification
The book package is available at: www.exida.com/Books/Safety-Book-Package
